Aaron’s writing is deeply influenced by his real-world adventures. He completed a world-record solo trek across Antarctica to the South Pole, led one of the oldest teams to cross the Greenland ice cap, and has climbed Denali, North America’s highest peak, multiple times. These extreme feats of endurance and exploration fuel his thrilling, cinematic stories where history, adventure, and mystery collide. Aaron writes from real-life experience, bringing authenticity to his fiction that connects with readers on a deeper level.

Before becoming a full-time author and polar explorer, Aaron spent two decades in embedded systems engineering. He wrote software for defense systems, night vision gear, and other high-tech platforms. Some of the work was classified, but of course, he can’t confirm or deny that. (He can tell you about the golf balls, though—he also worked for Callaway Golf. Every career arc needs a few plot twists.)

Aaron travels often. Partly for the joy of it, but mostly to collect stories the way others collect souvenirs.
